Florida.

Wow, it’s been a bit. Sorry for anyone who happens to keep up with my blog. I guess I should tell you about Florida since last time I was on here I was currently in Florida complaining..

Okay, so basically I was there from one Saturday to the next, and since we didn’t get there til late Saturday night and we left early the next Saturday morning, we basically has six days. Five of which were back to back theme parks from morning til evening. Tiring to say the least.

We had a resting day when we first arrived. After we went out for brunch, most of my day was spent catching up on some sleep. The next day it was off to Disney World Magic Kingdom bright and early. I would have to say this park was the most similar to Disney Land. Day two was Disney World Animal Kingdom which had an awesome safari. We drove through lions, giraffes, elephants and all kinds of other animals which was definitely one of my favorite parts. Day three was Disney World Epcot. It rained this day but it still wasn’t very cold so we made it through the day. My brother and sister got a little bored here since there weren’t too many rides. The scenery was amazing though and they had a ton of princesses and other characters everywhere! Day four we went to Disney World Hollywood Studios which is most similar to California Adventure. They had a lot of tours and shows which were cool too. Then finally, day five. The day I had been waiting for. We went to Universal Studios Florida which is home to THE WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER. I was beyond excited! I wish I wasn’t so broke at this point, otherwise I would have bought everything! It was amazing and so detailed and I cannot wait for the California park to be built.

So basically, I had a blast! By the end of it I’ll admit I was definitely ready to come home though. I love my family, but since I don’t live with them I’m not fully used to my brother and sister constantly bickering. On top of the family stress, I never got used to the three hour time difference so I was constantly exhausted. All in all, it was an amazing experience though. And I totally went broke buying everyone and their mom’s souvenirs.. Here are some pictures!

Homesick.

It’s so weird. I’ve never actually gotten homesick before, but now I find myself feeling more alone than ever. I just arrived in Florida a little under four hours ago and I’ve already broken down twice. One is happening as I type this, actually. I know I must sound like a spoiled brat. “Oh poor me. I’m stuck on this all expense paid family vacation to Disney World. Wah wah wah.” And I really am appreciative and super stoked that I’m here. Today has just been so incredibly stressful that it has put me over the edge.

I’m so emotional lately. I hate it. Here I am, just four hours before I need to wake up, bawling my eyes out. And why? I don’t completely know. I’m over sensitive right now and getting irritated with my boyfriend. I hate not having him here to comfort me and we’ve never been this far apart, or just apart in general for so long. There’s so much space in the condo we’re staying at that it frustrates me he couldn’t be here with me. My family stresses me out and I could really use one piece of sanity with me on this trip.

I guess I should get over it and do my best to sleep.. I’ve got a long week ahead of me.
